Holy crap am I pissed off atm.
I went to start laundry this morning and all of a sudden it's a "cashless" laundromat. So, I have to lug all the laundry back to my room, trek off to the housing centre, buy a $5 laundry card, and then add money to it! Fucking ridiculous! Even worse I had to debit money to the card through a ATM that's run independantly (and who the University knows nothing about!). So help me if any un-authorized transactions show up in my account...there's going to be holy hell to pay.
I mean at least the print card at the library is only $1! But $5! So so stupid. And now I can only use debit (or cash - bills only, no change) to add money to the cards It's so fucking ridiculous... >_<
That and they also changed the washers and they're now half the size they were last year. So typical, the cost of a wash/dry went up, the quanity went down, and now it's all automated.

EDIT: 11:20 Get this! Just as I was happy that the dryers hadn't decreased in size any...the dry cycle is now 55 minutes! OMFG! Last year it was 70 which was many kinds of awesome, especially when it came to towels. 55 minutes...good grief...

EDIT: As of the 22nd, I'm getting a telemarketer call or a wrong number almost everyday! WTF?! It's crazy!
I'm thinking someone must have had this number before me...

So, Stryder and I were sitting on my bed watching
Then I realized. Fireworks.
I picked him up and went to the front window to confirm. Definitely fireworks. I totally forgot that they did them on the Friday of the long weekend. The cat freaked out (as usual) and hid someplace unknown on us.
I was able to watch the show on the balcony without getting to dizzy. Yay! It was nice! A little hard to see through the trees but still nice. And I’m glad I was able to see them.
I still can't believe I'm moving back down to Victoria in two days. Where did the time go?
